DTS/PTS release 17 Feb 2025

Version: DTS.L3.050.00 (17/Feb/2025)

  1. Slight user interface redesign. Improved interface for mobile from smartphones and tablets.

    USERS SECURITY

  2. Protect your account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enhance your account security by enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This additional layer of protection requires you to enter a temporary code (OTP) in addition to your username and password, making unauthorized access much more difficult.

    How 2FA works
Enter your credentials: username and password.
Verify access: enter the OTP code generated via: Email: receive an email with the OTP code each time you log in, or Google Authenticator: use the free Google Authenticator app on your smartphone to generate OTP codes. (Highly recommended for greater security and convenience)

When is the OTP code required?
By default, the OTP code is required:
New login from a different IP: every time you log in from a new location.
Periodic logins: even if you always log in from the same IP, the OTP code may be required every N days for added security.

    How to activate Google Authenticator
Download the app: download Google Authenticator for free from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on your smartphone. You must have a google account.

Request 2FA activation on DTS account
The service is free. To request 2FA activation on your account, email info@dtspazio.it.

    CONTACT MANAGEMENT

  3. We’ve made an important change to contact management to improve your experience. The contact management form now opens in full-screen mode, just like the quote and operational practice forms. This change, while not altering existing functionality, allows for alignment with other sections of the software, providing greater consistency and familiarity in its use.

    New features for contacts
In addition to the new full-screen layout, we’ve introduced new features to enhance contact management:
Notes and attachments: add notes and attach relevant documents to the contact via the “Events/Attachments” link, centralizing information.
Sending emails with contact code: send an email to your dedicated address, attaching it to the contact. To do this, enter the CONTACT code between the # characters in the email subject (e.g. #12345#).
Direct email sending (if enabled): send emails directly from the contact’s card, simplifying communication.

    EVENT AND ATTACHMENT MANAGEMENT

  4. We have introduced some important improvements in the management of events and attachments, making the display of information more flexible and complete.

Now, when you are in a quote or operational phase, you have the ability to include or exclude events and attachments of the related contact. This new feature allows you to customize the view, showing only the information relevant to the specific context you are in.

Regardless of the level you are at (contact, quote or operational), you can now always view events and attachments from previous phases, if related. For example, if you are in an operational phase, you can also see the events and attachments of the linked quote and contact.

    DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

  5. We’ve introduced an important new feature in document management: you can now upload different types of files, such as Excel (.xls, .xlsx), Word (.doc, .docx), PDF (.pdf) and text files (.txt).
This feature offers greater flexibility and allows you to have commonly used files readily available within the platform for easy download.

    Limitations
Excel and Word files: files in .doc, .docx, .xls and .xlsx format cannot be used with the auto-completion mode (which uses data extraction codes from the database).
PDF conversion: Excel files (.xls, .xlsx) cannot be converted to PDF directly from the platform. In this case, it is recommended to generate the PDF externally and then upload it to DTS/PTS.
