List of changes and new features
- Slight User Interface Restyling: We’ve made minor visual adjustments to the user interface.
Enhanced Mobile Interface: The interface for smartphones and tablets has been improved for a better mobile experience. - General Search Optimization: The general search function has been optimized and now includes contact addresses and cities.
- Contact Module Optimization: The contact module has undergone aesthetic and functional alignment, making it even more similar to the “Quote” and “Operational” modules.
Documents Section Added: A “Documents” section has been added to both the contact card and the contact list. By default, this section includes the generation of a contact card in Word and/or PDF format.
Contact Card Features: A contact card now includes: Email Sending (if configured), Events/Attachments, Documents, and address management with city, zip code, and country (if enabled). - New Resource Management Interface: A new interface for resource management has been implemented. In addition to the current management interface, an optional additional interface can be activated, allowing for easier assignment, modification, and deletion of resources in daily work services. This feature is available in beta version to gather feedback and can be activated upon request. We encourage you to try it.
- Events/Attachments: The technique for displaying the content of attached emails has been modified. There should be no differences, but we will still collect notes and comments. This change was necessary to implement a new and useful feature: printing the text of a single note/email.
- Economic Situation: Several columns have been added to the “Quotes” and “Operational” sections. The “Extra Data” option can be applied, which allows you to:
– Quotes Section: Add the following columns after the “Operational” column: Operational Date, Offer (from Operational), Estimated Costs (from Operational).
– Operational Section: Add the following new columns: Original Quote, Quote Date, Offer (from Quote), Estimated Costs (from Quote).
These extra data enable more accurate control over any differences between quote and operational cases. - Reports: Minor graphical updates have been made to the on-screen output tables. The defect that caused content misalignment in some cells should now be resolved.
- New User Level: Read-Only: It is now possible to assign a user read-only permission, meaning no modifications are allowed for that user in file Contacts, Sales and Operational.
- Important Features Introduced with Recent Updates
We’d like to remind you of some important features introduced with recent updates:
Password Change Request: Users can be prompted to change their password every “n” days (configurable).
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Upon login, you will be asked to enter an OTP code received via email or generated using the Google Authenticator application (recommended) on your smartphone. The OTP code will only be requested if access is from a different location (from an IP address different from the one used in the previous access). Additionally, the OTP code may still be requested after “n” days (configurable).
Google Calendar Synchronization: Upon request, the synchronization function with Google Calendar can be activated for appointments, reminders, and work services. Synchronization always occurs from DTS to Google Calendar.
